Lady Doak College Appointment
Dr. Roopa Ravikumar has made significant contributions to the field of Social Sciences, particularly in the areas of sociology, health care management, social research, and gender studies. With a career spanning over three decades, she has worked as a researcher, academic guide, and consultant, with a focus on community health, family values, and social policies. She has served and still actively engaged as an administrator for non profit organisations as well as a coordinator and convenor of academic and research committees.

Jamie Coats, President of SOPHIA OXFORD, a US non-profit affiliated with Oxford University’s Oxford and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) that develops multidimensional poverty indexes to assist governments and corporations to focus and coordinate their social investments.
From 2006-2018 James was the Director Friends of the Society of Saint the Evangelist, an Episcopal religious order of Brothers. He directed SSJE’s Stone & Light Capital Campaign to renovate SSJE’s monastery in Cambridge, Massachusetts and developed SSJE’s online formation ministry. He is a trustee of the Trustees of Donations to the Protestant Episcopal Church. Before SSJE, Jamie worked in Boston for several investment companies, for a start-up online education company, and for the Center for Corporate and Educational Initiatives. Previous to his work in the US, he worked for Business in the Community, UK, focusing on economic regeneration of poor inner city areas.

A passionate advocate for education and women’s empowerment, Roopa brings both professional expertise and personal conviction to her role with the Lady Doak College Foundation. Her commitment to service, innovation, and collaboration reflects the core values of the institution she proudly represents.

Dr. Sarosh Koshy serves as the Global Relations Minister for Southern Asia with the Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. He has decades-long work experience with social action groups, faith organizations, and social movements, both in India and the US. His many involvements and associations include coordinating a youth-student ministry in Kerala, India, working with the departments of Interfaith Relations and Faith & Order of the National Council of Churches USA, and serving as the Executive Director of Religions for Peace-USA, and as a Research Consultant with the BTS Center, Portland, Maine. He has a close familiarity with the issues, people, and organizations in Southern Asia, and has contributed to the theological discussion on the theme of mission with his book entitled Beyond Missio Dei: Contesting Mission, Rethinking Witness (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022).

Caroline has more than 30 years of experience in international banking, finance and investing. She spent 13 years at State Street as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Relationship Management and Sales Operations where she led the teams responsible for the bank’s largest clients and consult-ants as well as its sales support functions including market entry research, proposal management and CRM technology. Prior to State Street she spent 13 years at Brown Brothers Harriman as a Global Sales and Relationship Manager and Subcustodian Network Manager. Her experience also includes positions as Investment Officer and Financial Officer for the Czech and Slovak American Enterprise Fund in both Prague and Bratislava, Relationship Manager and Financial Analyst for Citibank’s World Corporate Group in Paris, and Corporate Trader for Algemene Bank Nederland Bank (ABN-AMRO today) in Atlanta.

Kelsey Cameron Rose is the Acting Executive for Resource Development at Global Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Kelsey was appointed to the Lady Doak College Foundation Board of Directors as a representative of the mission body which appointed Katie Wilcox as a mission co-worker and who was instrumental in the founding of Lady Doak College. Kelsey has nearly eight years of experience in philanthropy and holds a Master’s in Public Affairs with a concentration in nonprofit administration and policy.

Sharon Rajadurai joined the Lady Doak College Foundation team in 2020, bringing experience in philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising.
Currently, Sharon is a program and research associate at Imago Dei Fund, a family foundation that has a strong focus on supporting organizations serving women and girls both domestically and internationally. Prior to Imago Dei Fund, she worked at The Philanthropic Initiative, a philanthropy consulting firm housed in The Boston Foundation, where she supported TPI staff and clients through program management, research, and administrative support for a variety of philanthropic client engagements and ongoing projects. Her passions lie at the intersection of Christian faith, international development, and generosity, and she is passionate about serving communities in south India- her familial roots. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in Psychology from Suffolk University.
